Boeing Redelivers First of Three Air France 747-400BCFs
XIAMEN, China, June 1, 2007 -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Air France today celebrated the redelivery of a 747-400 Boeing Converted Freighter to Air France, the first of three BCFs scheduled for redelivery to the airline in 2007. The first redelivery is set to take place Monday.
The second of the three 747-400s to be converted was inducted in May and is scheduled for redelivery in August.
"This 747-400BCF and the two that will follow add critical lift capacity to Air France. These three aircraft will help us to accelerate the replacement of our ageing 747-200Fs and are the perfect interim solution while we wait for the entry in service of the 777F aircraft." said Pierre Vellay, senior vice president of New Aircraft and Corporate Fleet Planning for Air France. "In addition, the fact that it is a Boeing conversion gives us confidence that we'll have the support we need." |

»During Your Flight Safety Suggestions
Special safety measures are taken to ensure that children and infants are safe and comfortable before and during the flight.
Any child less than two years of age, is classed as an Infant, and must be nursed in the arm of a parent or guardian (at last 15 years of age). Any child two or over, is classified as a child, and must occupy a seat on their own ticket.
When checking in with children or infants, please allow 60 minutes for domestic travel, and 2 hours for international travel. Airport staff may request proof of Date of Birth for children and infants. Extracts or copies of birth certificates are acceptable, as are Immunisation books.
Please be aware that Bassinets, and baby car seats cannot be taken on board Virgin Blue flights. Infant restraint belts are available on all aircraft and must be worn by infants on take-off, landing, during turbulence and whenever the seat belt sign is illuminated.
